This agreement outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and shared understanding between:

1. Scope of Service

Micah provides tasteful, intentional wedding DJ and hosting services.
This includes:

• Curated music for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing
• Friendly MCing: clear, warm, minimal announcements
• Direction and pacing throughout the day
• Audio setup, sound reinforcement, and equipment operation
• Coordination with venue staff and/or your planner to keep the day flowing

If additional elements are requested (expanded sound coverage, extra rooms, wireless add-ons, custom edits, extended hours), they will be added to the final invoice.

2. Atmosphere & Music Direction

Micah follows your preferences, requests, and vibe guidelines.
You’ll share your must-plays, do-not-plays, and general taste before the event.

During the wedding, Micah will read the room and shape the atmosphere with intention.
Requests from guests will be considered, but Micah will prioritize your vision and the flow of the night.

3. Equipment Provided

A minimal, clean setup designed to elevate your space.
Typical equipment includes:

• Professional DJ mixer
• Professional Audio mixer
• 4 full-range speakers
• Wireless microphones for toasts
• All cables, stands, and power

All equipment is operated solely by Micah.
Clients agree not to handle or adjust any equipment.

4. Timeline & Coordination

Micah will arrive at least 2 hours before guest arrival for setup unless otherwise agreed.
A final timeline will be confirmed with your planner or coordinator.

Any major changes to the schedule should be communicated no later than one week before the event.
Day-of adjustments are normal; Micah will adapt while keeping the atmosphere intact.

5. Payment & Retainer

Total Fee: $1,650

Remaining balance is due no later than 7 days after the date of the event.

If payment is not received on time, Micah cannot guarantee service.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• The retainer is non-refundable.
• If the client cancels within 30 days of the event, the full balance is owed.
• If you reschedule and Micah is available, all payments will transfer.
• If Micah is unavailable for the new date, the retainer is forfeited.

If cancellation is due to extreme circumstances, Micah will respond with understanding and fairness.

7. Force Majeure

If unforeseeable events (illness, emergency, natural disaster) prevent Micah from performing:
• A qualified replacement DJ may be offered
• Or a refund of all payments except the retainer will be issued
Micah will communicate transparently and uphold the integrity of your day.

8. Meal Break

One vendor meal is requested for events longer than four hours.
No alcohol is consumed while working.

9. Photos & Media

You agree that Micah may use non-identifying event photos or short video clips captured of the DJ setup or atmosphere for portfolio or social media, unless otherwise requested in writing.

Micah will never share personal or private moments without explicit permission.

10. Client Responsibilities

• Provide safe, stable power at the setup location
• Communicate key details (pronunciations, transitions, special cues) in advance
• Provide a point-of-contact for day-of coordination
